This is such a wonderful place, the homemade vegetarian curries are like no others. The bajjis and samosas with lentils are divine. The yam leaf curry is spicy, delicious and worth a try. Love everything about Majjos!

Always promised myself I would try this place as it smelled great every time I passed by. The place is clean and we'll presented and the counters were stocked with a variety of currys, Rice's, sides etc. They prepare all the food in an open kitchen so you can see. I bought a couple of meat curry dishes some sides. These were put in containers cold for you to heat up at home. The food was excellent and I was very glad to have tried it at long last...but....it is very expensive and as such I will only visit on rare occasions.

I think some people miss the point...the food is cold for you to warm up at your leisure!!! I have been going here since it opened more or less. It's as good as ever. We only get veg items. Always perfect. The yam is a staple and ... wonderful. Matar paneer just great. The chap who usually serves customers is a nice friendly chap which always helps. What's not to like? Price?...well go and buy cheaper, inferior food if you like. It's not cheap but the quality is high...

The best Indian restaurant I have had the pleasure of visiting. Genuine home cooking at this family owned and run restaurant. Friendly top end service. Bring your own hooch. Their takeaway is almost next door. Even so, for me eating in is by far preferable. A lovely meal out with special friends.

Absolutely love Majjo's. Delicious dishes. The flavours are wonderful and very unique. I have been going to this family run restaurant for many years and everytime I go, I always enjoy a good chat with Majjo's. You won't get better curry anywhere else. My favourite dish is slow cooked lamb curry and their naan breads. It melts in your mouth.

We have had food from the takeaway section of Majjo's many times before and it is always excellent - really tasty, interesting curries, different to your bog standard indian or pakistani takeaway. Last Saturday we decided to try the actual restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, as we expected, and the service was fantastic as well - really friendly staff. The restaurant itself is clean and pleasant, but perhaps lacks a little bit of atmosphere. We got chatting to the owner and she asked for feedback on the decor as it's something she is trying to improve. Hopefully she will address the lighting and decoration to make it slightly more inviting and atmospheric as the food here is absolutely superb and it could, and should, be a thriving local restaurant. It's slightly off the main drag and unseen from the High Road - but it is well worth seeking out! It would be a real shame if another local, independent restaurant were to go under - especially one that is so good - so please give it a try and you won't be disappointed!

Love Majjo's, have been getting takeaways / eating here for the past 8 years regularly. The dishes aren't too oily, lots of flavour and a great variety of options (meat and veggie), different spice levels to suit everyone. Yes the takeaway is served cold to heat up at home but it's not a huge inconvenience, just makes you a little hungrier in anticipation ;)
